At Platypus Theatre we know how busy your are so not only do we offer you the highest-quality, most entertaining and music-focussed productions on the market, we also make it super easy for you. Here’s how it works!
Step 1
Take a look at our roster of crowd-pleasing productions and decide which one would be the best fit for your audience.
Step 2
Fill out our easy-to-use on-line form:
Choose the production(s) you’re interested in
Choose your preferred date(s) for the performance(s)
And that’s it! We’ll be in touch within 24 hours to answer your questions, discuss the choice of show, the dates and the fee. From there you can let us do all the work as you focus on the thousand-and-one other demands on your plate! We will:
Supply everything:
High quality scripts and repertoire to thrill your audiences
Highly trained and experienced professional actors and a stage manager (if necessary) to bring the show to life.
Music in bound book for each musician so no work for your librarian as the books are ready to be placed on the stands.
Bound scores, and an archival video for the conductor.
All costumes, props and a lighting plot.
Make all travel arrangements (once approved by you.)
Obtain and pay for any work permits (if necessary.)
Work with the technical staff at your hall to coordinate the tech set up.
Set up a meeting with the conductor to go through the show, answer any questions and discuss the rehearsal with the orchestra.
Present a concert that will leave your audience “thrilled at the highest level” as one orchestra put it!
